Photography Book Review
Photographing The Lake District By Stuart Holmes.
Photographing The lake District is a comprehensive photographic-location guidebook to the most beautiful places to take photographs in the English Lake District. The book guides the reader to beautiful places and gives advice on how to take the best photographs when there.
This guidebook will appeal to both keen photographers and anybody with a camera who visits the UK’s most popular National Park.
Detailed directions with maps and sat nav information are given, along with access information including whether a location is accessible by wheelchair. Suggested photographic viewpoints are described at each location along with advice on how to take the best photographs whilst there.
I bought my book direct from Stuart at The Photography Show at Rheged in Penrith at a great price of £18. I was instantly amazed by the book and had seen a blurb about it once before online. It appears to be a great and interesting book and I can’t wait to plan my next outing in the Lakes and use the book as a tool in plan making with it’s useful tips. I think it is available on Amazon and WHSmiths etc. A must have book for exploring the Lake District!
