Sedbergh Artisan Market

The Artisan Market is a community-based event specialising in art and crafts and a wide variety of local and regional food. It is held on the fourth Saturday of each month during the warmer months and set on the Main Street of this picturesque Cumbrian town that is Sedbergh in the Yorkshire Dales. It serves both locals and visitors with its wide range of stalls, and it is a friendly and fun event for all the family.

I decided to do the August Artisan Market on the 27th, the Bank Holiday weekend. Set up was from 8.30am and trading started at 9.30am throughout the day to 3pm. I was very pleased with the event and how the day went. I even got a large card order from a nice lady who owns the ‘Sorry Elephant’ shop in the main street Sedbergh as well as selling lots of stock from cards to keyrings to magnets to prints. Overall, It was a successful day and it brings me joy to think those cards will be sent off for family members birthdays and so forth.
