My Trip To Majorca
What I Got Up To In Majorca.
I travelled to a resort called Palma Nova, described as a ‘Mediterranean Classic’ situated on the south-west coast of Majorca and approx. 10 miles from Palma the capital, it is also one of the first purpose-built resorts on the island for tourists.
You always get plenty of sunbathing space in Palma Nova, with 3 beaches running the length of the horseshoe-shaped bay. Plus there’s always the hotel loungers!
One of the attractions the place has to offer is their aqua and animal park bursting with different shows and animals to see from turtles to penguins to sea lions to dolphins. Their dolphin show is a must see, where the bottlenosed beauties show off their swimming skills along with the training team joining in. From flips to informative information about these creatures its a great performance. Also their is a sea lion show and parrot show along with an aquarium, there’s plenty for everyone.
Talk about view!
Check out the photo below, of the lovely view from the rooftop of our hotel. Amazing panoramic views all round from the beach views to the hills behind to the sunset reflecting on the buildings to the glass lift to the top, great feature of the hotel.
Another activity we got up to was Golf Fantasia. It’s a tropical-themed garden in Palma Nova, not too far from the beach. And it’s quite big, there are 54 holes in total, made up of a trio of 18-hole courses, however we ourselves just went for the 18-hole option on the day. Its one of the best mini golf courses I’ve done, even after I lost to my sister by 8 points!
In a holiday prior to this I have also been to Palma Cathedral and the Aquarium, also an upside down house called Katmandu.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday for all, from a family fun filled getaway to the party animal that can discover the nightlife of Magaluf!
